Catwoman, Vol. 3

Slam Bradley reaches his office to find Wooden Nickel there, wanting Catwoman's name and address. On the rooftop of her building, Batman meets Catwoman. He plans to stay at her place overnight. She shows him photos, and he tells her the man is Wooden Nickel. He steals from thieves and reinvests that loot through an insurance company called Three Piece Suit Insurance. They specialize in settlements for those injured by super-powered skirmishs. The next morning Slam's in a hurry to reach Selina and bumps past Bruce Wayne as he leaves. Slam tells her he gave up her address to protect his son Sam Jr., earning him a punch in the gut. Sure enough, Wooden Nickel has come for Catwoman. A cat distracts him and the fight is on! Catwoman tries to set his wooden parts on fire, but some of him is petrified wood and the rest is treated with fire retardant. Wooden Nickel escapes and Catwoman, angry, returns to Slam. She has to move and Slam's lost her trust. She wonders how to handle Wooden Nickel even as he reports to his supervisors, three men different from the last set. They tell him to keep on top of her and dismiss him. Catwoman realizes she needs to think like a detective. She tears the address of Three Piece Suit out of a phone book...
