Annihilation

The Annihilation Wave has teleported a fighting force directly into the midst of Nova's ragtag alliance. As the forces of the alliance attempt to repel the Centurions, a battallion composed of two members from every race that has fallen under the yolk of Annihilus, an even greater threat awaits in space. Annihilus has captured Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds and with the aid of Thanos of Titan, has transformed him into a living weapon. Using his power and hunger, the Annihilation Wave can utterly destroy a world, but Galactus receives only a meager fraction of the sustenance he needs to survive. With death on the ground, and doom hanging over his forces in space, even Richard Rider has to concede that the united front against the Annihilation Wave is over. But even though the war is over, that does not mean that the fighting stops.
