Flashing back to scenes from "Secret War" and "Spider-Woman: Origin," we learn what Nick Fury has been up to. A Skrull disguised as the Countess tried to get information from him, but he knew something was up and killed her, causing her to revert back to her natural form. With this tip-off, he visited Maria Hill and Spider-Woman to deliver warnings and solicit help. He promises to put the pieces together for the sake of humanity. We see an assortment of images of various heroes, some of which Fury has circled in blue, and some of which he's circled in red.
