Plot

An historical novel set in the 15th century splendour of the Italian Renaissance, where a 25 year old Leonardo with his friends visit Rome to gather information. He believes that he could take the fortress of Castelmonte, which controls access to Florence, by creating a new concept of gunnery and war. Filled with intrigues of the Vatican under Pope Sixtus IV and plotting by the Pazzi bankers.
