Valdar, an extraterrestrial human being who says we have a common ancestry further back, lived near and worked on the job in an electronics plant with the contactee for nearly two years before departing again for his home planet in another solar system. He was brought here in 1960 by his people and was landed on a deserted beach near Durban, South Africa for two years of integrated living on a more primitive inhabited planet as a necessary prerequisite to his commissioning as commander of an interplanetary spacecraft. He chose Earth because his friend and mentor had some 20 years earlier also taken his final indoctrination on another planet here on our Earth. His friend had told him of the rare beauty of this unique planet with such a variety of living species, vast oceans, high mountains, broad plains and abundance of vegetation, and the unusual savageness of its society. After familiarization here, Valdar met and befriended F. Edwin W., a South African national working in Durban, and this is the story of a relationship that developed between the two men, and which continued until the end of Valdar's indoctrination and departure from Earth before the very eyes of his Earth friend and companion. This friendship and the close relationship continued after the departure right up to the present day and is still going on! More than 1,000 communications have been received from the extraterrestrials since Valdar's departure from Earth.
