Winged Migration

The Travelling Birds is a fascinating and informative documentation of the migration of a particular group of birds throughout the world. The birds, which are a collection of various species of birds common through the world, begin by traveling to North America. From there, the birds fly south to the Arctic where they rejuvenate and revitalize the population through mating. Many of the young birds do not survive the harsh weather and constant threat of predators. Those who do though, fly north towards South America where they spend the spring. The film concludes, as the birds return to the Arctic, and begin the entire process all over again which the film acknowledges as the circle of life and nature.
