Terror in Resonance
In an alternate version of the present, Tokyo has been decimated by a shocking terrorist attack, and the only hint to the identity of the culprit is a bizarre video uploaded to the internet. The police, baffled by this cryptic clue, are powerless to stop the paranoia spreading across the population. While the world searches for a criminal mastermind to blame for this tragedy, two mysterious children—children who shouldn't even exist—masterfully carry out their heinous plan. Cursed to walk through this world with the names Nine and Twelve, the two combine to form "Sphinx," a clandestine entity determine to wake the people from their slumber—and pull the trigger on this world.
Lisa Mishima is having problems at school and at home when two mysterious boys transfer to her school, and she is caught up in a terrorist attack.
While the police work hard to analyze Sphinx's first attack, Sphinx uploads a new video. Will they solve the new riddle in time?
Shibazaki joins the team working on the Sphinx Case while Sphinx tries to confirm suspicions of their own with their next riddle.
In response to earlier provocation, Shibazaki is challenged with a riddle this time only he can solve in order to stop the bomb from blasting but at one condition, no one can cheat.
A new character (from Sphinx's past) comes into light , working with FBI, against MPD trying to frame sphinx as mass murderes.
The FBI gets involved with the Sphinx case. A fake Sphinx makes an announcement with a riddle, the riddle leads to an airport, the real Sphinx, not wanting to be known as mass murderers, try and stop the bomb.
Followed by previous episode , it's a race against time for sphinx to stop FIVE and her plans , and MDP to catch sphinx.
All the detectives that went to the airport get suspended and taken off the Sphinx case. Sphinx's safe house gets blown up by Five. Kenjirou Shibazaki continues investigating. Lisa is captured by Five.
Kenjirou Shibazaki uncovers the truth about the Athena plan and the people behind it. Twelve goes to try and save Lisa.
Nine turns himself into the police and demands a press conference or he will set off an atomic bomb. When Nine is being transported Five interferes.
Sphinx execute the final phase of their plan.
