Ghostbusters
"Who ya gonna call?" There's been a lull in ghost activity in New York City and the Ghostbusters have long been out of business. Only Egon Spengler and ghostly sidekick Slimer remain. Egon has begun teaching a college paranormal course when ghosts emerge from the New York underground. The torch is thus passed to a new team of Ghostbusters: Roland, Garrett, Eduardo and Kylie. Guided by Egon and with advanced equipment, the Extreme Ghostbusters face off against nastier and meaner ghosts. This show is very loosely based on the previous shows and movies. The only real concept thats stays the same is Slimer, Egon, and the Ghostbusting.
Construction for the new subway tunnel unseals a monster. Four students and the students of Spengler's class 'Paranormal Phenomena 101' forms a new generation of Ghostbusters to battle the demon Akira.
Garrett, Roland and Eduardo repair the equipment while Achira uses Kylie to spread plague around the city. Kylie is freed after they track her down. They upgrade the equipment to stop Achira. But it seems like Achira is just the beginning.
A clay giant attacks two men vandalizing a synagogue. Garrett runs into old friends that he used to play basketball and hustle with, but Roland is not as welcome. The team deals with racism and bigotry.
When a construction site is disturbed, a demon protects its territory by capitalizing on people's fears. The EGBs intervene and they, too, must face their worst nightmares.
A group of demonic creatures (based on Cenobites from Hellraiser (1987) franchise) kidnap people and turn them into monsters. The Ghostbusters learn that their creator is a famous author of horror novels for children that Eduardo loves.
After a small-time hood steals a pouch of ancient runes from a museum, he learns that he can use them to mark people for a giant demon to take them to its world to serve its demon master as slaves. The EGBs must not only track down the thief, but also rescue his victims before they are trapped in hell for all eternity.
In the Middle Ages, an alchemist releases a demon which requires a mechanical host. The demon re-appears in present day New York and puts Roland under its spell, causing him to create a deadly mechanical vehicle for its destructive purposes. The EGBs must destroy the ghost in the machine before it destroys all existence.
The EGBs try to rid a house of ghosts, only to learn that the house itself is a ghost. The Ghostbusters must defeat it before it feeds on two captured children and makes dessert of them.
When the EGBs go after evil ghost clowns, laughter vampires who are terrorizing the hearts and minds of Manhattan, Eduardo becomes a clown vampire, too.
Eduardo loses his proton gun and Kylie helps him find it, much to her chagrin since she'd rather be busting an eye-stealing demon which terrorizes the city.
The bug demon Cohila, who is capable of taking human forms, looks for a female host to be the Queen of his kingdom which will take over New York. Trying to get Egon to notice her and to make him jealous, Janine accepts a date with Cohila and is almost transformed into the bug queen before the EGBs can release her.
When New York suffers an epidemic of pesky ghosts that even the EGBs can't seem to defeat, the Mayor calls on a Pied Piper who claims he can rid the city of its demons. When the Piper's demands grow too outrageous, the Mayor refuses to comply. The piper then reveals himself to be a ghost and lures the city's children into danger, forcing the EGBs to stop him and rescue the kids.
A ghostly salesman arrives in Grand Central Station and twists people's hopes and dreams into terrifying incarnations. When Eduardo falls prey to the Salesman's spell and is turned into Kylie's cat, the EGB's must figure out how to outsmart the ghost before he leaves town forever.
As a gremlin sets out to destroy all communications, transportation and power companies throughout New York City, the EGBs unsuccessfully try to convince the authorities they have a ghost on their hands. Instead of being thanked, the EGBs are arrested and put on an airplane where they have a final confrontation with the gremlin and, at the last minute, manage to capture it.
En route to a convention in Atlantic City, the EGBs are attacked by a legendary South Jersey demon and forced to defend a small town without any of their ghostbusting equipment.
The EGBs battle a ghost who travels through the water system of New York City, sucking all the water out of his victims.
The Extreme Ghostbusters track down a Banshee whose destructive vocal power endangers the entire city. Their mission hits a snag when Roland comes under the spell of the Banshee's sister, Syren, a paranormal being who uses her identity as a rock singer to hypnotize listeners and drain away their youth.
A temporal disturbance leads Kylie into the New York City of a fallen future, one where humanity's supremacy has been usurped by Paranormal Beings. She joins a band of freedom fighters in a battle against the Paranormal leader, Tempus, a ghost who can simultaneously exist in two separate time planes. Separated by nearly a century, Kylie must find a way to work with the Extreme Ghostbusters, who are battling Tempus in the present. And unless they can find a way to unite in battle, Tempus cannot be defeated.
When a drought threatens the livelihood of a settlement of Scandinavian immigrants, one of them reluctantly calls upon the Hræsvelgr, a spirit which brings rain but also much fury. When the Hræsvelgr flies to New York City, a rash of extreme weather ensues and the EGBs must conquer the fury of this ancient Norse spirit.
A seed containing an ancient Amazon spirit is inadvertently released in New York City and threatens to turn the entire city into a jungle if the EGBs don't stop it first. Is the spirit a benevolent protector of the rainforest, or a malicious demon bent on destroying humanity?
A Leprechaun set loose during the renovation of an Irish pub uses a Shillelagh to suck victims into his "pot of gold." Garret's simultaneous string of bad luck jeopardizes the EGBs ability to catch the Leprechaun. But after secretly kissing the Blarney Stone, Garrett leads the EGBs to rescue Mayor McShane at the height of the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
An army of demonic evil spirits tries invading New York City by secretly possessing its inhabitants one by one - including Eduardo.
A mishap while trapping Fenrir, a Norse wolf demon with icy breath, leaves Slimer accidentally trapped inside the Ecto-dimension of the Ghostbuster's Containment Unit. Now incarcerated along with all of the ghosts he helped capture, Slimer is made to pay for his "crimes." Donning a protective suit, Eduardo enters the ghost-plane to rescue Slimer while the other Ghostbusters try to stop Fenrir before it can bring about Ragnarok.
Kylie is forced to turn to the original ghostbusters' old enemy, Grundel, for help in order to catch a copycat who may have something to do with her past.
When a series of nightmares lead to strange physical injuries, the EGBs find themselves battling a surreal spirit bent on dominating the waking world one who channels itself into people's dreams though Barry Sherman, a shock-jock radio host.
The EGBs come up against a deadly ghost serpent that is terrorizing New York. When it proves impossible to stop, they team up with an Ahab-like ghost who has been obsessed his entire afterlife with capturing the ghost serpent. Together they defeat the ghost serpent, thereby allowing "Ahab" to find eternal peace.
The EGBs battle a ghost which feeds on radioactive energy that renders their ghostbusting equipment useless. As the ghost grows more powerful by consuming more energy, the EGBs must devise an alternate way to stop it before the city is destroyed.
The EGBs investigate the mysterious disappearance of a Chinatown merchant who is possessed by an ancient bone-stealing demon.
After unwittingly releasing a dangerous ghost-bride from an old boarded up wishing well, an ex-yuppie, trying to make some sense of his life, hires the EGBs to protect him from becoming her permanent groom on the other side.
When dozens of New Yorkers go on sudden unexplained feeding frenzies, the EGBs find themselves battling both an Indian demon bent on world domination and one of its victims: Slimer!
An ancient buried spirit trapped for years escapes when an abandoned mine is reopened. The ghost possesses vehicles such as cars, buses and airplanes and makes them look like demons. Janine wants to start a pie business.
The EGBs battle a demonic canine who has turned all of New York City's dogs into his own personal slaves. The EGBs finally capture the powerful entity, only to then face its much more powerful master.
The Mole People, a tribe of humans who live beneath the subways of New York, are being blamed for a rash of power outages. But when a young girl who is one of the Mole People comes to the EGBs for help, they discover that the true culprit is a quartet of ancient lightning demons. A platonic relationship develops between Garrett and the girl, who must ultimately return to her subterranean home.
Fed up with being taken for granted, Janine takes a long overdue vacation and the firehouse falls apart without her. The EGBs hire a temp, Lillith, who appears to be even better than Janine, but is actually an energy-sucking ecto-leech queen bent on destroying the EGBs from within.
When the firehouse has to be sprayed for bugs, Egon temporarily moves in with Eduardo and these roommates make an odd-couple match. Meanwhile, the EGBs battle a nasty brood of replicating trolls as Eduardo tries to hide the fact that he's a ghostbuster from his brother.
An old colleague of Egon's turns out to be behind a rash of ghost crimes. Egon and the team confront him in his subterranean lair where he plans on opening a gateway to the ghost dimension.
Ray, Winston and Venkman return for Egon's birthday celebration and decide to bust some ghosts just for nostalgia's sake.
The old team sticks around to help battle the largest threat the ghostbusters have ever faced, a huge, fog-like, growling amorphous mass of ectoplasm which contains the ecto center of the Bermuda Triangle. As it's heading toward New York and devouring everything in its path, Janine is back at the firehouse preparing a deluxe Thanksgiving feast for ghostbusters, both new and old.
A sphinx preys on the intellectuals of New York, turning them into slobbering idiots when they cannot answer his riddle. The EGBs must stop the ghost before it attacks a meeting of the world's most powerful minds at the United Nations.
The EGBs confront a trio of malevolent teen witches who try to recruit Kylie into their ranks.
