My quick rating - 7,1/10. I can see what all the hype is about. For a first effort, this is a well rounded movie. Great camerawork, exceptional attention to detail to recreate the 50s, the list goes on. The story is a great throwback to the Twilight Zone for sure and it plays out just like a quality episode would. A couple happens across a strange signal during a broadcast while the whole town is at a basketball game. Of course the inquisitive two have to hunt down the source of the signal. Caller ID just wasn't a thing lol. The acting is very good and just the whole feel is so pleasant in delivery. Even though I wanted a bit more from the ending, I was still satisfied and surprised by this one. For times like now, must see. It for surely would've done well in the theater had it made it.
