My quick rating - 4,8/10. Yep, better than the first. But you haven't seen the first. So I can't tell you the dumbest thing possible about this one. So I'll just say the killing is better, the makers put down the bottle and attempt to explain the "why" that they desperately needed in the first one, and still do since it still is vague as all hell. Gore abound, more constant screaming. I think you get the point. And a third for sure is coming (they are trying to sell packages which allow you to get KILLED in the third one. Look it up, I did.) I won't be in line for that sequel. And I bet out of morbid curiosity I'll still watch it.
