My quick rating - 2.7/10. Another mockumentary, but unfortunately, this one tries to be serious. How these people thought that anyone who acts so poorly and has dialogue written that no person would possibly ever say would pass as believable is beyond me. To be honest, the only thing that saves this from being a #turkey is when I was laughing AT it. Keep in mind, it wasn't trying to be funny. This is a look at the "neighbor" next door and what is going on behind closed doors. In this case, it is a couple of truly irritating people who get off on killing people and recording it for their own pleasure. I have always read that sometimes in horror, less is more, and the director took this idea to the extreme. So no, this movie never tries to bait you in with gore since it doesn't even bother showing the kills. Nor does it allude to them in a way that makes you think about it and become intrigued. Instead, it is just scene after fairly boring scene of these two picking up random people and bringing them home to kill. As I mentioned, a few times the dialogue is so insanely stupid that you have to laugh at it, but to watch a movie for that reason would be just as dumb. Seems everyone in the town these people live in is really asking to be murdered, since it is almost like they volunteer for it when these two lovely people are around. I cannot really think of who this might appeal to, so I guess that is up to you. Beware, it somehow has sequels, and one is on the way.
