Simon Leach is a very, very sick man. Thriving on despair, pain, and panic, he unites a group of broken and desperate people in the middle of the desert. He showers them with the love and affection they’re so desperate for, but Simon has a much greater plan for his followers.

My quick rating - 3.5/10. Only a couple more left of these After Dark ones I missed. Another handi-cam flick, this time chronicling a group of young adults' time with a cult in the middle of nowhere. WOW, this is friggin' slow. I really hope this is building up to something good. I realize that some woman (Hannah Levien) has infiltrated this wellness camp in the desert to attempt to find her sister, but they have hardly even touched upon that since it first started. Bill Oberst Jr., as the leader, Simon, has an obsession with filming every detail of his work and seems to be the majority of this flick. Luckily, the acting is actually believable out of the unknowns, so even though it is tedious, at least they make it watchable.
