Remember the good old days when anyone with a camera and a few thousand bucks could schlep up to Bronson canyon and quickly make a cheap sci-fi/horror B-movie? Well, they're back! The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is an affectionate, meticulous re-creation of those notoriously cheesy clunkers, as a gaggle of beloved stereotypes pursue "that rarest of radioactive elements - atmospherium."

My quick rating - 7,4/10. Oh my, does this group of talent, top to bottom, completely get the 50s drive in, scifi, B-movie schlock from the day. Every aspect of what made these movies great is hit in this hilarious spoof if you will. The overdrawn repetitious dialogue, and laughs. The effects and costumes made on a $20 budget. Pointless close-ups and purposely poorly edited shots. The list goes on and on. I mean, times when the props had to consist of whatever they could find in the garage or attic. The whole thing is just a symphony of perfection in making these not at all forgotten gems that much funnier. Remove the MST jokes and incorporate the humor directly into the movie. We have a scientist, and by his words, you'll never forget that. He is hunting for a mysterious meteor containing atmospherium (lol). But an alien ship that has crashed on Earth drops off a mutant made of this, along with a crazed hunter searching for a long lost all powerful skeleton. All of which want this precious element the scientist has found. So they must try and trick the scientist and his wife into giving them the meteor. So bring in the wild shape shifting of the hunters, including the animals turned woman that steals the show every scene, and complete hilarity from deadpan jokes and hilarious lines that are only topped by the previous scene. This movie is just too good and a must for all.
