Beautiful, ruthlessly ambitious, intelligent, and successful businesswoman Catherine Black lives a life of luxury in an architectural dream house in Malibu with exclusive designer fashions, fast cars, and exquisite jewelry. She has no need for a man except to satisfy her natural serial killer instinct, literally. When Tyler, a petty thief, responds to her online roommate ad, he thinks he's struck gold. But he has no idea that after a night of partying and passion, he is really just on her menu to be her next victim… until real romance gets in the way.

My quick rating - 3,7/10. What an irritating pretentious piece of crap this movie is. I can hear the writers/director using that fake Steve Martin laugh (could not find a sound bite for ya) through every single scene. How they found a woman to play this rich, self absorbed serial killing bitch so perfectly is beyond me. Too bad she is so damn annoying along with being good for the role. So I mentioned the serial killer part, yeah, pretty much about all the movie does as well. Oh, her and her girlfriend are cannibals. Sound interesting yet? Well, guess what, that is the extent of that as well. But how about 5 minute scenes of dancing to break up killing each other? Or repeated skits from SNL of taking a mundane word such as "cute" and tack on everything to make the term "cuter" Oh, and I think it is 2021, so two women kissing is not a selling feature anymore nor has it been for I don't know, 30 years? So use it, and move on, let's not ham it out for 10 minutes. I get the writers may have just run across the far superior "American Psycho" and thought they could do that, but with a woman, and funnier. They ended up with long drawn out pointless scenes, suggested dark humor of a serial killer and a cast of completely unlikeable players in a plot that blows off the few good points they hinted to and left undeveloped. If I hadn't chuckled a few times, it would be lower and seeing what others have written on IMDB, there is NO hope left.
