My quick rating - 6,4/10. Ok, before you hit the reviews and see people whining about Jolie being "too skinny to be taken seriously as a firefighter" I have a problem with that. First off, believing Jolie as a firefighter is NOT necessary, it is established in the first 5 minutes she WAS a firefighter and now sits in a tower watching for smoke and sharing survival knowledge. So, really, people, shut up and see the movie before reviewing it (IMDB, I am looking at you). Now, for the movie. It looks really damn good. Some great camera work and locations give the eyes a treat. I did like how they varied the story up to introduce a couple different sets of characters to intertwine into the assassination that takes place. It just gave a bit more to a standard plot to keep your attention. The acting is pretty good as well, with Jolie and the kid (Finn Little) playing off one another very well. Some of the funniest lines of the movie stem from Little to be honest. The villains in this movie are also acted very well with very little remorse for what they need to do to get the job done. Well, for the most part that is. Action wise this moves at a nice pace throughout and had no problem keeping my attention. If you go in thinking it is going to suck, as I admit I did, you will be pleasantly surprised. Not only did it not suck, it was actually pretty damn good. Oh, I purposely placed the second part of my complaint I read from morons who didn't see the movie to the end, what would someone being "skinny" have to do with being a firefighter? She wasn't cast as a bodybuilder. Oh, just FYI, she does look dangerously thin.
