My quick rating - 5,3/10. For the most part, when I see Scott Adkins I am going to watch it. Add in Dolph Lundgren and you have my interest peaked at mid-level action flick goodness. And that is exactly what this movie was. The plot led to an interesting way that the thieves had to get to the money in a specific time period, having it stashed in a building scheduled for demolition. I liked that since it put a realistic time clock on the events. Our two stars are after the same money that a gang is sent to the building to retrieve, but for different reasons. Adkins is a laborer who finds the money shortly before our prison guard Lundgren shows up to try to find it as well since he got the drop on the money that the actual thieves were there to grab. So for the most part, it pits every man for himself to get the money and get out of there. This leads to a couple of so-so fights with the two heavy hitters (age is showing) until they realize they are going to have to team up if they want to make it out alive and hopefully rich at the same time. Action wise this one isn't bad for the budget but the directing is suspect at times. Scenes seemed mismanaged to me, too long or too short. Then again, Lundgren was pulling double duty here as the director, so these flaws make sense. For an action vehicle, it does satisfy even if it doesn't do either of them justice. But as a whole, it is better than the recent flicks Lundgren has put out and sits a slight step down from Adkins usual fare. And the two of them play off each other well enough for some decent humor throughout. If an action fan you should be good unless you are overly critical (getting punched in the face usually does knock off a pair of glasses) and if not, well, you most likely aren't missing anything.
