A chemical blast at a military base sets off a supernatural disaster. As Sgt. Dash tries to keep the peace at the local police station, the explosion unleashes a toxic acid rain that dissolves the flesh of anyone trapped in it. Even worse, it causes the dead to rise again and attack the living. Can Dash and fellow officer Nina Rossi figure out who is friend and foe, fend off the attacks, and defend their colleagues until the savage cataclysm subsides?

My quick rating - 2,3/10. It is that time again all!! You know the drill. Oh, this one was bad. The strange thing is, it wasn't the worst of these "slap Amityville on it" flix that have been clogging up the STV market. A nuclear disaster in Amityville causes some massive storm which rains down an acidic poison that turns the town into zombies. The disaster is some grade A special effects done by a few monkeys pushing filter buttons and pounding on the laptop keyboard. This effect of the acid rain outside is laughable to say the least. Ok, so the plot focuses on the people trapped in the police station trying to figure out what to do as the zombies close in. They did make some lame attempt at drama with the captain's son getting dropped off there and how their strained relationship can be fixed. Along with the rest of the characters presented, I doubt you will care about any of them. Aside from the woman trying to pay a parking ticket that is in the waiting room, you will be rooting for her to get killed within 5 seconds of her speaking. As you know is going to happen, the undead gets in, or people go outside, feel their skin start to immediately burn, stand there like dopes and die. There are a couple of scenes that actually had some well-done practical effects for the shoestring budget, but trying to find positive in drivel such as this isn't an easy feat. You have to assume one of these times, they'll actually slap that name on a halfway decent story by accident, but this isn't that time.
