My quick rating - 3,5/10. When radarr grabbed this, IMDB didn't have anything on it. Now it is at a 3,6/10 which works out fine for background while I work lol. Since I forgot about this, it is now up to 4,3/10. So apparently the crew was busy trying to drive the numbers up. The entire direction of this flick is really poorly done. So many scenes I was ready to just turn it off. Things unexplained such as a child being held hostage in a house, or being massively injured by being hit in the arm? Things like this were just dumb. The story of a family that goes camping and sine the Grandfather is stubborn and needs to go to the most remote place possible, they end up on private property but due to a massively lame set of circumstances, they can't leave. To add to the silliness there, he is injured in the most ridiculous way since the RV gets stuck (on an everyday dirt road which makes no sense either). The acting is pretty poor especially with this family but the creepy guy that tells them to leave is "amusing" for lack of a better word. But this does lead to a bit more plot when the mother has to go looking for help for the group and stumbles onto much more than she expected. As previously mentioned, a kid being held hostage is about all I will say without spoiling the tiny bit of suspense this attempts to have. For a low-budget indie, it isn't the worst but it unfortunately just doesn't seem very competent in the creation part of it all and that all spreads throughout the whole film. Up to you if you want to click below and check it out.
