My quick rating - 3,9/10. Second pick due to length (74 min.) and it happens to be another Troma flick, this time by accident. First thing, the sound quality leaves plenty to be desired. Doing a spectacular job with emulating the old sci-fi flix is the special effects. Laugh out loud amusing and completely on purpose. But there is also this strange slo-mo looking camera that doesn't seem to be on purpose. The plot is ridiculously stupid with some alien invaders returning to some podunk town to perform their tests, anally of course. The humor in this flick is so juvenile that it really is hard not to laugh, sometimes at it, and occasionally with it. I am hesitant to say this, but this does hit the so bad it is good category. Let me explain how. The space ships are no better than using your tea saucers dangling from wires, the laser shots could be emulated with free software or an effect on tik tok. All the people (i am not calling them actors, sorry) in this are clearly having a blast making this movie. The plot seems pieced together on the fly, with the usual rif raff teens avoiding the adults being on the frontline to defend the Earth from the returning ETs after their last failed attempt at taking over nowheresville, Ohio. Clearly not part of the Troma Team, just distributors so don't expect the comic book gore. But you can expect a similar brand of humor. Only for fans of low budget schlock that could easily be on Mystery Science Theater 3000 and fit in nicely next to Plan 9 from Outer Space (which curiously enough has the same rating on IMDB I am giving this flick LOL). Proceed with caution.
