The Fantastic Four is an unreleased low-budget feature film completed in 1994. Created to secure copyright to the property, the producers never intended it for release although the director, actors, and other participants were not informed of this fact. It was produced by low-budget specialist Roger Corman and Bernd Eichinger (who also produced another Fantastic Four movie in 2005).

My quick rating - 3,9/10. I remember years ago hearing about this unreleased version of the movie. The story was that Bernd Eichinger owned the rights but only through a certain date so he HAD to make a movie to keep the rights. So he hired the king of b-budget Roger Corman to make this with only the intention of keeping the rights and never actually letting this movie see the light of day. Eichinger did end up keeping those rights and also producing the 2005 & 2007 Fantastic 4 movies. Well, this one has made its way around in various outlets and I never got around to watching (or owning) it until now. Not linking to it here since I am sure it will be taken down, but the whole movie is on youtube right now if you want to check it out. It is obviously one of those long before super hero flix became the blockbuster movies they are now. This one is pretty bad all around but still ends up being must see for fans.
