George, who begins to re-live time after witnessing the world end, is recruited into an organization that uses this power to prevent apocalyptic events.
After a freak accident harms someone close to George, he is left distraught. He can't stop himself from asking the question - if he is working with an organisation that can turn back time, why can't they undo what has happened?
Following a personal loss, George decides to stop mourning and take action instead. If his team at the Lazarus Project won't help him, George will need to find support elsewhere ,even if that means appealing to Lazarus' sworn enemies.
A personal tragedy has set George on a collision course with the Lazarus Project. George is determined to reset time to get back the person he loves - but the only way to do so is by causing a global catastrophe.
George continues on his mission to create chaos and turn back time. Trying desperately to keep the Lazarus Project off the scent, George tries to shift the suspicion from himself by making a longtime Lazarus employee the scapegoat.
Closer than ever to his goal, George rushes to finish the job before Lazarus can discover what he's up to. Out on a limb, the only people that George can ally himself with are a group of mercenaries.
George wakes up with everything he wished for - but all is not as it seems. George grapples with his guilt and begins to confront some unpleasant truths - including how his actions may have fundamentally changed him as a person.
When the Lazarus Project are rocked by an event that they have no control over, the organisation is sent into disarray. They are in a race against time to find a solution to what seems like an impossible problem.

Notes
My quick rating - 7,7/10. Oh, this better come back for a second season! This is a one of a kind time travel type show that really suckers you in from the beginning. It gives you a scenario that has SO many plausible outcomes that there is no way to know where it will go. And how they make this work is I don't truly believe they knew where it was going either. It feels so fluid in how Joe Barton wrote this that makes me miss corporate days and having a show like this to talk about weekly around the water cooler. Each episode leaves you more or less coming up with more possibilities and when you think you know, you don't. It won't leave you speechless such as Inception or a few others but it is highly effective. The cast to me was basically anonymous but Paapa Essiedu is our lead who realizes that he has the ability to remember back to what has happened after time reverts back to a certain day, when also no one else can do this. A group has been formed to use this ability to stop mass catastrophic events form happening. Sort of like Timecop only in a much more sophisticated presentation. There is a lot more to this show though then just one-offing a single incident and calling it end of episode. There is multiple threads going on that I cannot delve into due to spoilers. The cast itself is really well done and I am sure these are actors more recognized in the U.K. The action scenes are nicely shot and gives a unique look around some cities that are not the norm for USA styled television. I am sure there will be plenty of people that are not going to like this and I will tell you why. They won't understand it! So as long as you believe yourself to be an intelligent viewer and like a good bit of scifi, this should make your watchlist asap. It starts out tame enough but due to some brilliant writing it slowly develops into far more than just shooting the bad guy and saving the world.
Not available for streaming yet but it is coming to TNT network and has already aired on the British Sky network.
