My quick rating - 3,9/10. This is a 75-minute flick I know nothing about. Seems a woman (Jocelyn Saenz) wakes up with blood on her and realizes that her brother is dead. She has no recollection of what happened the night before and calls her buddy, Billy (Mark Simich) to come and get her. Apparently blacking out from too much drinking isn't unheard of with this woman. In attempting to flee the scene, she realizes she doesn't have her medication for her bipolar disorder and must try to use her fragmented recollections of the past to try and figure out what happened. In these flashbacks, I have no idea if those two were more than just brother/sister though. For being so short, this movie really drags with absolutely nothing going on. I am starting to think all this shit is in her head. There is a lot of editing of scenes that may or may not help in deciphering the story. The acting is adequate enough in what they are trying to convey. Saenz portrayal is very subtle in her convictions so it helps to leave the door wide open to whatever trip they are trying to take you on. Unfortunately, I found the trip to be very little in the thriller department and a lot more pointless kissing and hugging scenes that don't help the story regardless of the twist they throw at you. Still, on a shoestring budget, they are able to present their story well enough that I didn't end up angry at the end, just not very impressed either. Most of this review was typed while I was watching since trust me, there is plenty of time to do other things. So that is why the negatives jump out so much. The price below isn't bad if you want something to kill an hour.
