My quick rating - 5,8/10. I had no idea they were making a sequel to Becky which I saw a few years back. Gave the first one just short of a 6 so we'll see about this one. Prepare yourself for an unexpected rollercoaster of intense thrills and darkly comic moments as this film picks up where its predecessor left off, offering a heightened dose of Lulu Wilson's captivating performance as the titular character and a deliciously amusing turn by Seann William Scott as the wicked antagonist. Having enjoyed the first installment, my expectations for this flick were cautiously optimistic. Much to my delight, the film not only lives up to its predecessor's energy but stays right on par with the fun. Wilson once again commands the screen with her fierce determination and undeniable charisma as Becky. Her portrayal is a magnetic blend of vulnerability and unbridled rage, drawing audiences into her tumultuous journey of retribution. Her ability to convey emotions through her eyes is truly remarkable, allowing viewers to connect with Becky's internal struggles even amidst the frenetic action. Seann William Scott, known for his comedic prowess, takes a wickedly entertaining detour into villainy as the antagonist. His portrayal of the menacing antagonist adds a layer of dark humor that is both absurd and oddly endearing. Scott's ability to oscillate between malevolence and comedic absurdity keeps the film engaging, even during its most over-the-top moments.
