My quick rating - 4.0/10. The Asylum snuck past my radarr since this flick clearly showed off their logo as being the production company. For those who are unaware, that is never a good sign. Hey look, Bender (that would be Judd Nelson for the kiddos reading). They almost presented us with a passable horror flick and then it just falls apart. I swear something interfered with the original ideas that were being worked on. There is some good stuff going on in this flick but it is like the head honcho stepped in and told the director, Anthony C. Ferrante, it looks good, but we have to add some comedy in somehow. Oh, and it has to be a happy ending so find a way to make that happen. It is forced upon you and nothing leading up to it asks for a peaceful resolution to what transpires. Oh, and that grim reaper-looking guy actually looks pretty solid, and for the mentioned reason, all of a sudden he speaks nonsense dialogue. If I was rating this against The Asylum library, it is a 10 but in reality, it is a surprising 4.
