Butterfly On A Wheel – aka Shattered

Neil Randall and his wife Abby (played by Gerard Butler and Maria Bello respectively) live an enviable life. Prosperous and seemingly content, they live peacefully in an affluent Chicago neighborhood with their young daughter Sophie, until the unthinkable occurs--Sophie is kidnapped. The kidnapper, Tom Ryan (Pierce Brosnan) conspires with Abby to conduct a 24-hour campaign to psychologically torment Neil. Apparently, all is not perfect in the Randall marriage; Neil is having an affair with Tom's wife, Judy (Claudette Mink). Tom and Abby pretend to kidnap Sophie as a pretext for setting up their revenge for the infidelity. Neil is unaware that Tom is Judy's husband and assumes that Abby is equally a victim of the kidnapper's plot. Tom forces Neil to comply with a series of increasingly cruel demands culminating in Tom's threat to kill Sophie if Neil refuses to murder Judy. This film was released in the U. S. under the title "Shattered".
