Cannibal Holocaust

Cannibal Holocaust is the story of a documentary film crew who travels into the depths of the Amazon rain forest to film two cannibalistic tribes, the Yanomamo and Shamatari. When the film crew does not return to civilization, the worst is suspected. A rescue team, lead by Professor Harold Monroe (Robert Kerman), sets off to retrace the ill-fated crews' steps in the hopes of finding them alive. Upon arriving at the Yanomamo village, the rescue team discovers and successfully bargains for the film reels documenting the documentary crew's final days. What the film reveals is an unfolding horror unlike any known to the civilized world.
