Plague

“The Plague” starts 10 years after a mysterious epidemic swept the world, plunging children nine years or younger into coma. Now Tom Russel (James Van Der Beek) an ex con who is just released from prison for the murder of a man in a fight. Free man, Tom returns home to visit his older brother who has a child suffering from the coma induced sickness. No one, not even his ex-wife Jean Raynor (Ivana Milicevic) is happy to see him. What a homecoming for that night all the children wake up in a blood lusting murderous mood, killing most of the adults. Now a team of survivors led by Tom and Jean try to escape town to the safety of a military base located only a mere 60 kilometers outside of town.
