Meet The Spartans

"Meet the Spartans" is the latest parody mash-up from the team that gave us "Epic Movie", "Date Movie" and the "Scary Move" series. The movie combines straightforward parody of the movie "300", interspersed with pop culture references from the previous several years. In general the film follows the "300" storyline, 300 Spartans, led by King Leonidas attempt to block the Persians from invading Greece at Thermopolyae. Each major scene however is blended with a parody of another film or television show from current pop culture. For example, the initial battle between Spartans and Persians consists of a parody of crew dancing scenes from "Stomp the Yard" and "You got Served".
