My quick rating - 4,6/10. Highlight of the flick, the killers chrome mask. Maybe that is why the sequel is called "Chromeskull" Anyway, this is your typical slasher flick. Nothing really new per se. Just a mundane trip that it really seemed like the makers had some grand scale idea of what to do with this, then got drunk and said "F$*k it, let's just finish the movie" The killer is doing his thing on video, for no reason known to anyone, sometimes gory and others not at all. This is where the makers giving up is frustrating. No explanation. And in trying to make a "Jason" type killer, they forgot all the things that made him great. Indestructible for no explained reason. Not here, just an everyday dude with a cool mask. Onto the sequel.....
