In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

My quick rating - 6,9/10. How I missed this movie is beyond me. Action galore with detailed effects that look great. The movie has a lot of coming of age feel to it along the way with the town being overrun by aliens. Casting was done very well with the kids holding their own to define who they were. The editing was done so well to keep everything going without looking plain ridiculous (which the train scene should have). All around a fun sci fi flick that will please just about anyone and not scare or confuse the audience at all.
