When he is suspended from his university job for his outlandish ideas, Professor John Venkenheim leads a documentary film crew to the rim of the Arctic Circle in a desperate effort to vindicate his academic reputation. His theory: Mary Shelley's ghastly story, "Frankenstein," is, in fact, a work of non-fiction disguised as fantasy. In the vast, frozen wilderness, Venkenheim and his team search for the legendary monster, a creature mired in mystery and drenched in blood. What they find is an unspeakable truth more terrifying than any fiction...a nightmare from which there is no waking.

Movie review: Well this is a fake documentary ala Blair Witch style. So, what if Marry Shelly's book wasn't fiction, but an account of the true experiment that occurred and succeeded? That is what this is about. A film crew goes into the arctic to find Frankenstein. Sounds interesting enough, I thought. Oops, wrong. The movie is tediously boring for 95 percent of it. Good news if you decide to see it, only 1:26 minutes. The acting is what you would expect from a bunch of low budget nobodies, and in these types of movies, they are just paid to whine and bitch all the time anyway, so I guess they did fine. The scenery is by far the highlight of the movie, some very nice shots were captured in this movie showing what it is like in Canada and further north into the Arctic. Interesting enough idea on how they told the story of how it became to be in the hands of this professor. Could scenery and a halfway decent idea save this? NO , most people will turn this off right quick (thought crossed my mind) I'll be generous and go 3.3/10 IMDB 3.5
