Ash Williams and his girlfriend Linda find a log cabin in the woods with a voice recording from an archeologist who had recorded himself reciting ancient chants from “The Book of the Dead.” As they play the recording an evil power is unleashed taking over Linda’s body.

My quick rating 8,9/10. Take the brilliance of the first one, add a budget. Throw in comedy and turn your hero into, a wise cracking man who must again defeat the deadites. This version takes no time to get going at all and never lets up from start to finish. There are few words to describe just how good this trilogy is, take it away, Bruce......."GROOVY"
