My quick rating - 5,5/10. Had no idea going into this what I would see. By cover and quick description, I assumed, "Campy B-budget STV werewolf nonsense" and that is sorta what I got. Only difference is that the movie had such an original setting and protagonist to keep you engaged that the lack of money thrown at special effects was a mere after thought. Our blind hero, played wonderfully by Nick Damici, is shuffled into a retirement community where he immediately notices something is wrong. The audience also finds this out right away. So with those two plot points revealed, how can one not be enthralled of the possibilities of this story? This also leads way to some good subtle comedy mixed in along the way as Ambrose must prepare for the next full moon. This is another fine example of indie movies making the best with what they have to spend and relying on performance and story to keep us watching. Heck, even the music did well to draw you in. So as long as you have no problem with some pretty crappy looking werewolves, you will enjoy this flick.
