My quick rating - 5,8/10. A well crafted thriller that isn't exceptioal but is a nice Halloween scare flick that doesn't indulge in the gore aspect. If you aren't a fan of Nicholas Cage, you for surely will not like this one as the focus is all around him trying to find his missing son. I personally think he is a decent actor in bursts as long as it isn't every other movie that is out. Anyway, the story itself revolves around his boy going missing to appease a "something" that takes children on Halloween night. The full story isn't really explained all too well minus a slight bit of ancient stories that are unearthed via, you guessed it, google lol. Overall I enjoyed this for what it was worth. Another tame yet good movie to keep in mind for the family this Halloween (i think it comes out November 25th) Oops, I somehow saw it early, shame on me.
