My quick rating - 5,5/10. This "Jurassic Park" with zombies instead of dinosaurs movie really could've been great. The story that I just mentioned is not exactly the highlight but the underlying story that they TOTALLY messed up and just brushed over with new cuts and barely explain throughout the flick is what they needed to explain more to really hit pay dirt with it. That and some better acting. Dougray Scott was fine as the strong silent type but the quirky kids, gotta go. The token blonde, needed a bit more to her. The final girl, umm...ok I suppose but still a bit weak when needing to actually show emotion. Missed chance on it as a whole yet still a satisfying zombie flick that I didn't see coming at all. Figured I would be getting a #turkey. Glad to be wrong, check it out.
