My quick rating - 5,5/10. These flix have been sitting in our Halloween playlist for years and are finally being viewed. As far as found footage goes, it definitely is one of the better entries in the genre. I do believe people get all worked up when a BWP type flick doesn't completely suck so they rate it way higher than it should be. I understand the why but don't get carried away, this is the lowest end of a 6 you can get.
