My quick rating - 4,7/10. I have to say that I don't recall the last time a movies ending earned all the points, but this is one of those times. This really isn't a very good zombie flick, or movie for that matter. The plot would be fine except aside from the lead female, the characters are horribly written. This is not assisted by the fact that they are also really poorly acted. A group of criminals have to join up with the bounty hunter that is out to capture them to fight the zombie apocalypse set in the wild west. Sounds promising enough, but that is about where the story just falls on its face. Really poor make up and special effects drag down the zombie aspect. Aside from a couple of chuckles in the movie and some obvious inside jokes, the movie just plods along with little rhyme or reason. All this leads up to a climax that was very good and I am glad to see they had the balls so to speak to end it as they did. Fans of zombie movies may be able to sit through the boredom to get to that point, but I would think casual moviegoers will be turned off by it. The homage to the classic scene from "Night of the Living Dead" was used well, but doesn't have the punch it had half a century ago seeing a horde of zombies feasting on one mans body. This one is entirely up to you.
