My quick rating - 6.9/10. I somehow missed this one. Excellent twist in the typical zombie flick but if you cannot stand zombies that run, you will not like this. In the future, a strange fungus has changed nearly everyone into thoughtless, flesh-eating monsters. When a scientist and a teacher find a girl named Melanie, played phenomenally by Sennia Nanua, who seems to be immune to the fungus, they all begin a journey to save humanity. The world that Colm McCarthy was genuinely believable for a post-apocalyptic world that has learned to survive amidst the zombies that have taken over the planet. Put this one on your watchlist since it is well worth it.
