Notes

My quick rating - 6,8/10. This is just such a really well made movie. Performances by Pratt and Lawrence are very well done. I would've rated it even higher if it wasn't so darn predictable. Beyond that, the visuals look great even if they are not the centerpiece of the film. I really enjoyed how this was also able to insert just enough sci-fi action into the interstellar love story to keep viewers with a change of pace from within the same flick. If you are unaware, basically you are on a 120 year journey in suspended animation, and you wake up, oh, 90 years early. In other words, doomed to die on this ship. BTW, it is the future, everything is automated, so nobody to talk to, get help from, etc. And the moral dilema that lies within being surrounded by 5000+ people asleep and being all alone. Just a well done movie that I do recommend.
