An adaptation of a short story called "The Bridge to Body Island," by Robert Damon Schneck, the story centers on three Wisconsin college students who come up against the sinister titular "Bye Bye Man." Aside from this, the plot details (including the log line) are currently under wraps.

My quick rating - 4,2/10. I really am not sure if this was trying to parody horror films, or if this was to be taken as a serious flick. Either way, it wasn't very good. The story goes, this bye bye man when his name is mentioned, or read, or thgouht, I couldn't tell, but anyway, he has the abillity to make those effected see whatever he wants. Sort of an interesting idea, making others do the killing for him. It would help a lot if any of this was explained or to what extent this power goes. Also, maybe having a single actor that could make you believe a word they say would also have helped, but not here. The acting was horrible. After plodding along for an hour through somewhat random visions causing things to happen, the scary monster is revealed. Please note the sarcasm. Then it just becomes a bigger joke than it already was. Aside from a few creepy use of making people see whatever he wants, this movie has little going for it. The first 5 minutes showing the initial person effected is by far the only points in this movie. Don't bother, there is much better horror out there that actually doesn't come off as possibly comedy.
