My quick rating - 5,4/10. I think just for the nostalgia and pulling back in the feel of the original show, this movie climbs slightly out of obscurity. The major problem with this movie is focusing on one joke. And continuing to do so, over and over. So if you happen to think homophobic jokes are the best thing since "your mom" jokes, than you will love this one. Otherwise you may tire of them really quickly. Might be the first time a comedy uses foreshadowing early on to tell you the type of humor you are going to get so clearly. Beyond that, the action plays out in a somewhat humorous fashion as the show did. I am too far removed to remember John being such a moron, but they sure did nail that part. The little nods point wise from me come in things I would have to spoil so lets just say they are minute parts that gave a bump. I doubt you'll be mad to see it, but I don't think this is anything better than a rental (or whatever we are calling it these days)
