My quick rating 5,5/10. Summary points that out, so I'll leave Chris Hemsworth alone ;) Very rarely do hacking movies, even still to this day now that it is more mainstream, ever get notoriety but since this one had a bit higher caliber actors and Michael Mann at the helm I figured I would give it a look (because as you see, I won't just watch anything lol). So I won't dive to much into the computer nuts and bolts, some things are accurate, some are ridiculous and basically all are there to just further the plot of the movie. This one is about bad guys hacking into high level government servers to wreak havoc globally for profit. Yep, it is all about the benjamins of course. The brave hacker, sprung out of jail to help, has to infiltrate the bad guys to "get out of jail free" as he puts it. Overall a bit above average movie with a few very nice gunfights (I did mention Mann, correct?) leading up to a very strange ending you will have to see. I don't do spoilers. One computer thing, next time you receive an attachment you don't expect that may be suspect, you may NOT want to go to the site and change your password. This should be fairly obvious to anyone, especially those at the top of the food chain in the CIA. Just a friendly tip. Oh, and the computer geeks can get the ladies these days. No really, we can.....
