A group of friends download a Siri-like App which, at first, seems like a harmless way to get directions or a restaurant recommendation. But the sinister nature of the App soon reveals itself. The App not only knows each person’s deepest, darkest fears, but is able to manifest these fears into the real world to literally scare the kids to death.

My quick rating - 4,5/10. Another in the line of install this app, and it'll kill you. This one has little explanation of where the app comes from, well, in a logical sense. They just more or less mention the time frame and seem to forget to relate it to anything. Since the app seems to target the users fears, apparently the majority of characters in this flick don't like clowns. I am always up for scary clowns, heck the even treated us to a red balloon but this was no pennywise. Had its moments and they were really striving for jump scares so if it is dark and loud, it'll catch you a few times. Overall though, the plot is a joke and the acting is fairly bad. Par for the course really but I have seen far worse.
