The plot of Children of the Corn: Runaway follows a young pregnant Ruth who escapes a murderous child cult in a small Midwestern town. She spends the next decade living anonymously in an attempt to spare her son the horrors that she experienced as a child. She lands in the small Oklahoma town, but something is following her. Now, she must confront this evil or lose her child.

My quick rating - 3,5/10. Another in yet a too long of a list of bad sequels to this series. This one is just as bad as the last, and time before, etc. Another survivor of the massacre in Bumble-you knonw what, where ever. These movies are so forgettable I can't even recall the towns name. All the elements that made the original chilling are again zapped away. Not only are the elements of the children wiping out the adults non-existent but this movie doesn't even attempt to explain a thing. Things just kind of happen. Don't waste your time. I keep watching since that is what I do and sometimes I do find very good movies that are deemed as bad, but not this time folks, this is just bad.
