King T'Challa returns home from America to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country's new leader. However, T'Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne by factions within his own country as well as without. Using powers reserved to Wakandan kings, T'Challa assumes the Black Panther mantel to join with girlfriend Nakia, the queen-mother, his princess-kid sister, members of the Dora Milaje (the Wakandan 'special forces') and an American secret agent, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.

My quick rating - 7,6/10. Another stellar MCU flick, this time using a slightly lesser known super hero. The overall quality of this movie is spectacular. Great use of camera work along with some very good effects for the visual flare. The action moves very quick but rarely gets jumbled up so you don't know what is happening. Boseman was a good choice to play the lead and held the screen very well. When he gave a look, you could tell what he was trying to say. The story itself did a good job of keeping itself in who Black Panther was, and where his world is. This happens to be a super advanced region in Africa that is hidden from the rest of the world. Here his tribe lives in a technologically advanced area built on a pile of alien metal that is the core to their technology. Of course, there are bad guys, and want to take over the resources for their evil doing. Jordan is great as Killmonger, who wants to basically take over Wakanda (the hidden fortress) and the rest of the world. Even though I caught this after Infinity War, the movie stands alone just fine by itself. I really won't touch upon the message this movie also has underlying in it, since that is a whole other story between race (yes, Black Panther) , politics, and unity. It is quite a bit more than just a super hero flick.
