Notes

My quick rating - 5,1/10. As far as a sequel goes, I can see why this went straight to video. Now that doesn't mean it was bad, it just didn't pack any punch. I found the movie just seemed very rushed. The first one demonstrated the meticulous nature of how Breslin (Stallone) would calculate his way out of prison. This time they just flew through the escape leaving all of the "cool idea" factor behind. The story itself, as far fetched as it is, wasn't bad. A member of his own team, that specializes in breaking out of prisons, for hire, to demonstrate vulnerabilities, to the warden decides to take his idea and one up his boss (Stallone). This leads to the typical cat and mouse that gets wrapped up way too quickly after sending Stallone to this completely automated prison called Hades. Which also doubles over as a fight club for inmates, I guess. Don't really know why they threw that in there since they didn't develop that idea at all. Could've been much better if they had just put a little thought into it, besides the basic premise.
