On a weekend getaway at a rundown cabin in the woods, Jason, a cautious teen, his crude best friend Colin and his fearless older sister Summer are forced to work together, grow up and save their hard-partying parents from their predatory neighbor intent on feeding them all to her undead family.

My quick rating - 5,4/10. I will have to give credit where it is due. This zombie-ish movie does everything it can to give us some unique characters. Being unique includes acting like total morons. But this is done with some good humor to lighten the mood. I have a feeling the father figure in this movie is based on the writer/director, but that is just a guess. Well, a drunk daddy and his new flavor of the week take his kids, and some friend on a cabin getaway weekend. As is the norm these days, cabins in the woods = death, usually by zombies. Here we have a mysterious woman who seems to have a nice little stable of them roaming around. Of course, the kids stumble across her place and the rest is what you would expect. I doubt there was any acting to anyone in this movie, I think they just played themselves. To that is where the comedy lies. Low budget, good laughs make this above average and worth a look if you run across it.
