My quick rating 6,5/10. Keep in mind, this movie came out in 1981. That being siad, it stands the test of time quite well. With effects now that are an afterthought with CGI, for back then, this was truly frightening. The story itself is very well done, with a woman who has a traumatic experience with a serial killer nearly killing her and her being sent to a rehab cetner. Well, this little retreat for her health may not be exactly what it seems to be. This is where the fun begins. Some very memorable dialogue in this movie along with some classic scenes of transformation along with a picture perfect ending. The scares are there, and doesn't use the tried and true "blare the sound" routine. The acting is solid and the characters are different enough to keep their own identities throughout. At this time there were about 3 really good werewolf movies that should be on everyones list (yet only one of them named by the viewers). Good call, Deedee. I welcome rewatch for me.
