My quick rating - 2,6/10. Well, the worst of the "haunted house that isn't fake" movie so far this year. The evil Balthazar Kane is back with his most horrifying show yet. Ok, well, the legend is of course made up, sorta, in this movie by a 2 minute song performed by one of the chosen contestants to spread the word of the new spectacle. Bad enough, but it gets worse. The contestants who are chosen for various reasons to enter the house, and win $250,000 to make it through, are possibly the worst actors you can find, anywhere. It is very difficult to be so bad of an actor in a horror movie that it can distract you, but they found them. Scenes at times almost seemed like the wrong dialogue was happening for the scene itself. Just brutal to be confused for the absolute wrong reasons. It is hard to explain how stupid this movie is. A five year old could get out of this house (and yes, it is just a house, sorry for the spoiler). Oh, back to the idiots, they are gassed in route, and awaken outside the house. No idea how long they were asleep, they venture in (the guard with a machine gun gave them little choice). From here it is a matter of sloving riddles that are about as difficult as open the only box in the entire room to find a key. Along with try not to get killed by the damn creepy looking clown. Highlight of the movie, and used completely improperly. All this leads to a stupid ass ending after the participants are picked off one by one in truly unspectacular ways. And when the movie ends, the piss poor writers and directors (whoever made the decision) tries to slap in a completely impossible spin on the entire movie that makes things even worse since it takes the horrible acting of one character, and shows now that she was even WORSE the entire time, and behaving in a way that literally makes no sense. Instead of trying to throw a "Sixth Sense" swerve into a b-budget crappy flick, they should've just left it with the end, and not attempt to play the audience like a bunch of morons.
