A diverse group of friends gather for the festive season in a remote lodge but soon plans go awry. One of the friends goes missing and the truth behind why the lodge was booked for the holiday is disclosed. Christmas quickly turns to chaos and a bloody nightmare ensues

My quick rating - 4,5/10. Fairly dry humor doesn't help this half-developed story. A group of friends get together at a remote lodge for Christmas (about the only tie to the holiday at all) but as any "cabin in the woods" scenario, nothing is what it seems. That term sounds far more sinister than this movie is. The gruop realizes they basically face their own fears to overcome the evil. And by dumbing that down, that is about as exciting as it gets. Couple extra points for a somewhat creepy looking ghost that makes its way into this every now and then but again, it isn't anything you haven't seen before. Other extra point is for the ending, nice little dark twist which I won't spoil. Definitely not a xmas flick by any means nor is it that good. All the characters seem to have no motivation for even being there.
